Rockstar Announces ‘Bully 2’ To Be Released In 2016
NEW YORK – After a longly awaited title, Rockstar Games has announced that they will finally release a sequel to their 2006 hit ‘Bully‘. The game will be titled ‘Bully II: Senior Year“. Rockstar has scheduled the release date to be in the year 2016, exactly ten years since the release of Bully.
Bully is regarded to being one of the greatest games to be released on the Playstation 2. Ever notice that there isn’t any children or schools in Grand Theft Auto titles? That’s because it is not allowed to include schools and children in mature games like GTA. Instead, Rockstar decided to create A rated-Teen version of GTA, in which you play as fifteen year old Jimmy Hopkins, in a journey to rise through the ranks of the school system battling various cliques to earn respect. Of course the game features no killing, drugs, or anything of that nature since the game is rated Teen. However, you can still do enjoyable things such as fighting, kissing girls, riding bikes, skip school, roam through the map freely, complete missions, a senior year Jimmy Hopkins, etc.
Rockstar announced that Bully 2 will features “much more content than Bully”, including: longer story, larger map, more weapons, more classes, more characters, and more. “We didn’t forget about Bully” says Rockstar vice-president Dan Houser, “We were just pre-occupied with other titles like Grand Theft Auto, Max Payne, and Red Dead. But we felt like the wait was long enough, Bully needed a sequel”, finished Houser.
Houser also announced that they will be keeping up fans with Bully via their twitter. They will be tweeting updates up until the release of the game in 2016. Are you excited for Bully 2? Because we sure are.
